Reminder: All work effecting this quarter's grades must be turned in by Friday, Oct. 29.

Block: Today is the last day to turn in HOHH assignments. All books are due to be returned to the library today. Today we discussed leads and assigned their first lead - an action one. It is due by Monday.

Enrichment: Select 4 lessons you have not yet passed and try to pass them today. The first 5 lessons will be having grades posted tonight. The next five next week.

Science: Read the stories: Grow Your Own Crystals and The Air You Breathe. They were assigned 3 questions to be answered on these stories and put on p. 15 in their science notebooks. Notebooks will be graded next week on 3 things: The Table of Contents, overall work quality and neatness in their notebooks, and one of the large labs will be graded on all of it's parts. These will be a major part of the students science grade for the quarter. Students may request to come in before or after school to complete missing parts of their notebooks if I am available.

Cartooning: Strip #3 is to be completed by Monday. Homework: select a cartoonist that you admire on which to do a computer research assignment. (What comic strip do you like the best?)
