Block: SSR or complete reading assessment from yesterday. Students are correcting sample reading assessments and learning what the state requirements are for reading; along with what scores are awarded and how they are counted. Vocabulary: Main idea, generalization, use of support.

Science: (No enrichment today.) Students are reading two selections What a Reaction" and (What is Matter) and are answering questions in their science notebooks. These are to go on page 22 of their notebooks.
Vocabulary: Chemical reaction, reactants, product, chemical bonds, speed of reaction. Students will finish in class on Thursday.

Cartooning: Students will meet in library computer lab to work on power points on their famous cartoonists today.
