Block: Silent reading and reading log #8 - due today. Reminder: Students should have reading logs 1-8 completed in their reading logs. If absent, it is up to them to come get the prompt for missing logs. They may be turned in in any order, so long as they are numbered properly. Then we will work on language worksheets p. 14-16 on use of punctuation.

Enrichment: Discussion of holiday decorations, tracing patterns, practice in measuring lines for our first art project.

Science: Watch "Atoms to Compounds" video - answer questions in science notebooks. Then read "Ask a Chemist" and answer questions in science notebooks.

Cartooning. Begin presentations of power points that have been edited by teacher. If additional time, work on cartoon strip #4.
