Reading: SSR, study for literary devices test on simile, metaphor, alliteration, hyperbole, personification, onomatapoeia.

Writing: DOL, continue directions for glass etching.

Science: The internet was not working today, so we wrote a seven day diary of Christopher Columbus's voyage to claim new lands. Graded on their use of description of perspective when boat sailed away from land, and description of approaching/leaving other landforms. Homework of not done.

History: Continue reading about the Persian Wars.

Cartooning: On overhead, discuss Cartooning p. 19-23. Comic Strip cover due by Friday.
