Reading: SSR, spelling pretest. There will be a test on 10 spelling words on Friday, as well as their definitions. Students were given a study guide with the words and definitions. Assn: use weather, whether, who's and whose correctly in two sentences (each). Due tomorrow.

Writing: To computer lab to continue taking notes on their country's five themes. These are all due by Friday. If students can work on them at home, that would be very beneficial!

Science: To computer lab. Today we discussed the moon crater controversy. Are the moon craters caused by volcanic action or by meteoroid strikes? In the computer lab on the Foss web site, we examined various crater pictures as we read an article on the controversy.

History: We read section 35.8 and 35.9 on Roman education and recreation.

Cartooning: Power points are due by Friday. If done, work on comic strip #3.
