Block: Read "Pompeii" in their lit books. Test: Make a compare/contrast venn diagram to compare the two pieces of literature ("The Dog of Pompeii"and"Pompeii".) They need 3 items in each of the 3 sections of the diagram. Each item must be accompanied by a page number, and in the middle section they must have a page number from EACH of the stories. They may take this home if not finished during class.

Science: Fun video reward for hard work on test this week. Next week we are hoping to finish the moon studies and will then be switching to the entire solar system.

History: Receive handouts to be taken home and parents need to sign. They include information about the World's Fair and accompanying reports. Students must complete reports to pass writing, and must complete boards to pass history.

Cartooning: Comic strip #4 is due by Monday.
