Hi Everyone!
Welcome to my blog. I use this space to inform you about daily assignments, due dates for projects/assignments, and remind you of important dates (6th grade camp, deadline for grades, etc.) I normally update this daily with a few exceptions, and do this update at the end of the day before going home. This means that occasionally it doesn't appear until after 5:00 PM.
I have a 24 hour voice mail at school so if you have a question, feel free to leave a message before or after school, however, I usually return e-mails faster than phone messages if you need to reach me quickly (nkitterman@tenino.k12.wa.us - or follow the link on the school site.)
I am so excited about the new school year! There are so many changes - an 8 period day, new electives, the wonderful new Foss Science kits, all your student's core classes will be taught by only 2 teachers, instead of many. It will be an exciting year!
This is my 29th year teaching in Tenino, and I'm looking forward to another exciting school year.I have to say that it is so wonderful to meet so many parents that I taught in years past. It's amazing what people remember about being in the classroom - where they sat, that "A" grade on an especially hard test, the time they got in trouble for doing something they wished they hadn't done, and the fun they had creating special projects. Here's hoping your child has a lot of wonderful memories by the time this year ends!
