Reading: SSR, review of Concha and Southpaw stories and chart made yesterday. Make Venn diagrams to compare the stories.

Writing: Begin compare/contrast essay.

Science: Do "Focus Questions" in groups. Give 3 minutes to discuss each question, then a 2 minute silent write on each into their science notebooks. Present oral review of moon/earth relationship.

History: Continue yesterday's assignment.

Cartooning: Discuss progress on cartoon strip #1. Due date moved to Monday at the end of class. Student presentation of completed strip. Discussion of strip evaluation forms.
