Reading: SSR, log #2, video on book fair coming up during conference week.

Writing: Friendly letter assignment. (Note: State testing always includes one letter writing assignment.)

Science: Worksheet 15 - figuring work hours and payment. Introduce time zones concept. Begin worksheet p. 19. Both worksheets to be completed in class. Tape worksheets into science notebooks.

History: Watched video and took notes on history from Greece to Macedonia (Etruscans) to Rome. Main concepts covered: Why was Greece overcome by Macedonia? Why was Macedonia overcome by Romans? What remnants did Rome keep from Greece? What do we have today as a result of Greek and Roman populations?

Cartooning: Last day to work on strip #1. If not in by today it will drop one grade.
