Block: SSR, receive new list of spelling/vocabulary words for Thursday test. (One, won, meet, meat, whose, who's, write, right, your, you're) Students write definitions for each word on study guide. Review literary devices for Thursday test. Assn: Write third paragraph for geography report to be typed in computer lab tomorrow. (They should now have a short introductory paragraph and two of the five themes of geography in paragraph forms for their country.) Progress notes were given out.

Science:Period 4 Progress notes were given out. Watch first part of "The Moon" from National Geographic Society. Assn: Take 12 notes on what they see. Extra credit for additional notes. Period 5 set up science notebooks for next experiment. Then get into assigned groups and plan an experiment to determine whether size of meteroid effects sizes of craters on impact. To be finished on Wednesday.

History: Continue orally reviewing answers to yesterday's study guide for next Monday's test. See yesterday's blog for questions. Remainder of period was given to make flash cards to study for the test.

Cartooning: Continue scanning completed comic strips. Work on comic strip #3 due tomorrow.
